Since i wasnt boating at the moment, around came the october half term, and with it brought explorer camp on HMS Bristol. A ship i have so many memories. The week started badly with me running the mountain biking course, all went well i got the group a mini bus and a brand new hire car, all went well. We got to the new forest where the bike hire had no idea of our booking. What to do with 15 kids? So i took them to fort purbrook in portsmouth. One of the sites i work at and managed to use the string trail and get the group climbing. This went on for sat and sun. By monday i had managed to book woodmill outdoor centre (one of my sponsors) to allow me to get the group in their for 3 days. We started the morning with a selection of activities including tunnel, low ropes archery even slipping. Followed by a macdonalds lunch to get away from the death packs. We carried onto the afternoon where with the help of ivan and jon managed to get the high ropes tower. Zip wire and high ropes course.
